Make sure you're comfortable with how they're running the place ahead of time. I did not think I had anything to lose so I went to Goodson Rec Center to see. Go check it out someday on your own before you plan to leave your daughter - ask them a few questions and see how they interact with the kids and deal with babies (are there out of control kids or is everyone busy, are things orderly, is it clean, do they have a good system to keep track of who's coming in and out? ). Walking distance to the Streets at SouthGlenn, DeKoevend Park, Goodson Rec Center, and the Highline Canal with Trader Joes and even more great shopping. The other day at the gym I realized I was walking on the floor in my socks. I go during spin class a lot and my son ends up in there with 15 other kids, which is fine because he already goes to preschool and gets exposed to a lot, but I probably wouldn't want to leave a smaller baby in there when it's that busy. Since your baby is so little, I would recommend you try to pick a time when the gym is less crowded so she isn't in there with a ton of germy kids. I feel very confident that the kids are in good hands. They're also hypervigilant about germs (having the kids wash hands and cleaning toys etc ). including a pool, then Goodson Rec Center is a good choice.

I work from home and have my youngest with me a few days a week, and I wouldn't ever be able to get in a workout if I didn't use the gym daycare all the time. I haven't used the childcare at Goodson, but I've used it at a couple of other places and I've always been impressed.
